CPS-01

No Disruptive Ads

Advertising must not interrupt play, track people, trick taps, or hold progress hostage.

Does not pass

Prohibited patterns

Third-party ad-network SDKs, banners, surprise interstitials, forced or progress-gated video ads, fake close controls, and behaviorally targeted ads.

Can pass

Permitted patterns

Static same-developer promotion in a menu, direct baked-in sponsorship with no user-level reporting, a clear premium unlock, expansion, soundtrack, or tip option.

How the audit treats this rule

Evidence, behavior, and edge cases.

Evidence

Provide the relevant configuration, catalog, service inventory, screenshots or recordings, test account/build, and a clear description of remotely controlled behavior.

Test

The reviewer checks actual behavior across applicable account states, regions, purchase paths, notifications, remote flags, and relevant service traffic.

Pass condition

The prohibited behavior is absent, permitted behavior fits the stated caveat, and the evidence is sufficient for the frozen product scope.
